TAX ADVANTAGES & INVESTMENT RETURNS OF MINIATURE HORSESUnlike the stock market, miniature horses are depreciable over five years, giving the investor an immediate investment return in tax savings while the herd is growing.There are federal income tax deductions for farm expenses and improvements including feed, fencing, shelter, vet fees, advertising and insurance. WHAT DOES T BAR T MINIS DO?We breed American Miniature Horses for conformation, performance, and temperament, with color as a bonus! We also breed mini donkeys, Pomerania's, and Australian Shepherds. We also show and train our minis and help to advance the mini breed by sharing these wonderful horses with elementary schools, nursing homes, and do demonstrations at the Texas A & M University - College of Veterinary Medicine open house which attracts thousands. Each foal is imprinted at birth and given daily hands on attention. All the miniature horses are on a worming program, have regular visits from the vet, farrier, equine dentist, and have had their vaccinations. All horses are registered with the American Miniature Horse Association, AMHA, and some are double registered with American Miniature Horses Registry, AMHR. Our miniature horses are hand picked and include get of Bond Snippet, Orion Light Vant Huttenest, Rowdy, Gold Melody Boy, Blue Boy, Buckeroo and Falabella breeding.

WHO IS T BAR T MINIS?The Miniature Horse Farm is owned by Bob and Sherry Tavel. Sherry was raised on horse back and has many barrel racing trophies. They discovered minis in 1997. Except for three riding horses, the large horses have been replaced with over 100 minis including National Champions Sunnyside Fire Cracker, Sunnyside Dots Incredible, and Hermann's Gentleman Joe. Joey was AMHA's National Show Best All Around Horse, National Grand Champion, Eight Times National Champion, and two Times Reserve National Champion. We also have National Top Ten Winners, National High Point Winners, and Regional Champions in Halter, Color, Hunter, Driving, and Multi Color. Bob competes in hunter/jumper and won Central Regional Hunter. Sherry won Regional Country Pleasure Driving and Showmanship, and was National High Point Amateur in Halter and Reserve World Champion in Obstacle.
